The Huron Yacht Club is a Sailboat Club located on the Pigeon River in Caseville, Michigan. It was established in 1978, and exists purely for the enjoyment and camaraderie of sailing for its membership and families. The Huron Yacht Club is owned, operated and maintained exclusively by its membership
At the Huron Yacht Club, we provide a full range of services for our members, including seasonal dockage and winter storage, access to Lake Huron, and a calendar of social events, races, and cruising activities. We offer opportunities for both sail and power boaters, as well as opportunities for families and youth who want to learn and grow on the water. Our work-day tradition and friendly community help keep costs down while making sure the club stays vibrant and welcoming.

Yes. While we’re primarily a sailing club, we currently welcome power boats as well. Members with power boats enjoy the same access to slips, storage, and club activities.
Membership dues are $1,000 per year, with a one-time initiation fee of $250 for new members. Dockage and winter storage are optional and priced separately.
Slips are available to members on a first-come, first-served basis. Rates are based on boat length, and we recommend applying early in the season to secure a spot ($450 + $10/LOA).
Examples: 25' sailboat =$700, 30' sailboat = $750, 35' sailboat = $800

Yes. To keep costs down and build community, we ask every member to take part in 4 work days each season. These days are when we put (1)docks in, (2)boats in, (3)docks/boats out, and (4)tackle projects that keep the club running smoothly. It’s a great way to meet other members and lend a hand. If you can’t attend, there’s a $200 buy-out fee per missed day to help cover the cost of hired help.
The largest boat we can accommodate is a 38' boat
